Cory was definitely.underrated...no one really brings him up these days...Ward is the only one ive heard to really mention him because Cory was his "big bro"...and i agree with Dougie...if Cory had got that nod over taylor, he would probably be looking at a HOF nomination ...Cory was a pure boxer in his prime..but once his reflexes started going it got brutal for him

This is their mentality. Always has been. Fighters are disposable. They're the main reason the sport was on life support all these years. All they cared about was lining their own pockets. Of course Dana white is a scumbag too. But with turk being the real boss I don't see this ending up like UFC. And I was a big critic of turki when he first came on the scene, but he's actually been doing great things. Buying out the ring and revitalizing its entire reputation. Giving us a weekly boxing show. Up the minute boxing news every day. He's made a bigger impact in 2 years than all of these promoters have their entire careers.
Of course it's possible he fukks over everybody once he has a monopoly. But I don't see it. It seems like he has a genuine appreciation and love for the sport. And he's proving it with all the moves he's making. So I'm optimistic for now.
its worst hearing it from Oscar because he was a fighter himself. He has no shame... I had the same opinion of Dana White but this boxing shot is up for the taking.. Oscar, Bob, Haymon, Eddie all had the opportunity to make boxing great but they squandeed it.. Now when the shyt is on life support and boxing cant even get a TV network deal.. now they wanna try work together 
Turkey Iron Sheik has done more for boxing in the past couple years than those clowns did in 2 decades..
