Random but whenever yall discuss weight classes…how do yall generally classify it?

Example do yall say

130, Junior lightweight, or Super featherweight ?

I say the number, or I say Junior...

I feel like saying "super featherweight" for example, is a middle finger to the featherweights. It almost seems dismissive.

Whereas junior lightweight simply means that your a smaller version of a lightweight, it's more descriptive in its implication.

unlike in other sports where they can earn a pension as a cushion somewhat in retirement, there are none for boxing whatsoever...long overdue

Not only that, but boxers are probably the least educated. There are no rookie transition programs, like say the nba/nfl that educates athletes on items like finance.

Boxers are truly on their own and have to trust their instincts and advice on who they sign with

no question about that...even with all the new age things that get implement in boxing...its still an exploitative sport esp if you come from nothing..and the old guard would like to keep it that way
