I’ve always said on here that elite boxers moving up in weight is a cheat code. They may be at a size disadvantage, but they have such a significant advantage in skill and handspeed, that it overwhelms bigger guys. A lot of the times, these fights are lopsided. Bigger guys just aren’t equipped to deal with it.

The handspeed is amplified against bigger and slower guys. You’re seeing it all across boxing right now

Bud beating Canelo
Canelo taking over 168
Stevenson
Haney beating that slow ass ww in his last fight


It kills me that some of yall believe Jermell could have beat Canelo when he doesn’t have that type of skill or speed, which is why he wants to stay his slow ass at 154.

I really don't think that much about fighters moving up in weight because they are usually just moving up to a weight that is natural without a big weight cut.

I was listening to YouTube today at work, and just let boxing videos play back to back.

In this one video, this nygga Battle Truth said Bud had Shields walking around his house butt naked.
I should have saved it. I can’t even find the video but it doesn’t even matter just thought it was funny.

People just gotta accept the reality. Zuffa/Ring is the future. And you can blame all these evil ass promoters for that. Now All of a sudden they wanna come together and pretend they care about the sanctity of the sport .....for years they fukked over the fans and fighters because they had all of the power. And all of these fighters stayed loyal to them like ho's loyal to their pimps. And where did it get em?.....now all of em are in limbo begging turk and dazn for fights......shyt is wild how the cards unfolded.


There's no stopping what's happening. It's already done. Eventually zuffa will have a roster of legitimate p4p fighters. And if any boxer refuses to fight them it will only make it look like zuffa is the place with all of the "boogeymen". It will only further legitimize them. Turki is obviously throwing around crazy money to establish zuffa into a powerhouse. It's all over for these dinosaur promoters. Turk will string em along for a while then take all of their fighters too. It's a wrap.
