Stevenson KO'd Dawson after Miranda KO'd Dawson in sparring and Ward was dropping Dawson left and right in their fight. It wasnt the same Chad Dawson that B-Hop fought:manny:

My thing is this, Bernard Hopkins is much more skilled than Fonfara, much better defensively, a much slicker boxer/puncher with stamina and a chin on him. Stevenson doesnt possess any of that. He's not "highly skilled", not a defensive fighter, apparently has low stamina which has been hidden due to his KO's early, and I dont trust his chin (even though Bernard aint gonna really test it, a properly placed punch will down Stevenson).

After this performance, it showed to me that without KO'ng his opponent, Stevenson has alot of weaknesses that an intelligent fighter like B-Hop can pick apart. There is nothing that Stevenson is better than B-Hop at, imo, except power and body work. I expect him to get thoroughly out-boxed by B-Hop :manny:

it wasnt the same Dawson. that dont mean anyone couldve came in and KOed him. Dawson never fought a guy like that and totally disrespected him. its not that Chad couldnt have been beaten by any other LHW that night but I doubt he wouldve been KOed with one punch

again....you are comparing BHop to Fonfara. dont work like that. also....I see no problem with Adonis stamina. he was trying to knock the guy out throwing every shot with evil intentions. you are gonna get tired.

Manny Steward once said....everybody gets tired....its the ones who able to think while they are tired that are good fighters.

Besides. it aint like BHop is gonna do anything to get Stevenson tired. Its a close fight....but Stevenson should be able to outwork BHop just based on the JT blueprint alone...plus Stevenson at this stage is better than JT was then against a much older BHop

Jermaine Taylor's jab at that time was better than any punch Stevenson throws........and Stevenson fights nothing like Jermaine Taylor, so that's a moot point breh:manny:

he doesnt. but he is better. those Taylor fights pissed me off with BHop because even though I felt he won....he couldve won them decisively but he just wasnt very active. why? because he doesnt take risks with strong athletic fighters who can crack. he doesnt take risks unless its something definite he can exploit.

didnt you just hear that BHop interview a few weeks ago when he was preaching about the main thing in boxing is NOT to get hit? if his activity aint up to par its gonna be hard for him to beat Stevenson.

I don't see any fighter from 160-175 that beats him including Hopkins. :manny:

I don't think I'm the only one that feels this way, him being the #2 p4p fighter and all. :smugbiden:

the thing is...we dont know...because right now Ward aint getting in the ring. he just hasnt shown a zest for fighting guys outside of his weight class so I dont know why we are talking about mythical shyt. let him agree to a fight at 160 or 175 first. thats the real stumbling block.
