Matthysse aint a "boxer", so he was unable to capitalize on it even though alot of people in here say Matthysse was winning prior to taking that left hook from Danny's mom's side of the family and getting his eye closed

That's his opinion. I originally quoted you talking about outworking Hopkins like that is some easy feat and comparing Stevenson moving around with Cloud to Hopkins.

All I see is opinions, I don't see anywhere in there that Stevenson was exposed.

A few days ago nikkas were in here saying Fonfora gets ko'd in 2 rounds nikka, two rounds. This fight was put together so can look sensational in getting a W and sell the BHop fight. Now all of a sudden he isn't a bum. You have a problem with dudes calling Fonfara a bum but shyt on Dawson.

Adonis Stevenson ain't no Danny Garcia though breh

Danny Garcia is a much more skilled boxer than him IMO. Stevenson has always had a questionable chin, I can't say Danny Garcia's chin is suspect at all.

After the Zab fight, Garcia fought an aggressive come forward puncher....which is perfect for his counter punching style.

After the Fonfara fight, Stevenson is fighting a counter punching boxer while coming off a fight where his flaws as a boxer were shown.

It would be like Garcia fighting Zab and then Herrera immediately after.

Now, I'm not saying Stevenson is a bum because he isn't, but I just didn't see anything from him that would make me think he can beat Hopkins. I still think Stevenson could beat Kovalev just not a great boxer like Hopkins

I know this is a long shot, but Ward should be trying to jump all over a Pascal fight. Pascal has a terrific following & he's not locked down to any network. Oh it would probably require him to move up & fight in Canada.

Ward may be able to move up & look better than ever. It's done wonders for guys like Dawson, Pascal, Stevenson, etc in the past. 168 is not really a division a US fighter should fukk with if he isn't willing to travel anyway.

if the fight went exactly the same way....I dont see Kovalev beating Fonfara. Stevenson almost got him out of there early but he didnt. he still laid leather on his ass for 12 rounds. he was in a fight. Kovalev on the other hand? he wasnt in no fight with Agnew. Agnew went back and forth from defense to offense and just that lil bit had Kovalev sucking wind.
