The interesting thing is HBO says they won't put Rigo on the air and Arum doesn't want to pay him main event money....and it seems they all point to the Agbeko fight:
HBO Boxing After Dark
  • Average Viewers: 518,000
  • Matthew Macklin vs Lamar Russ: 401,000
  • James Kirkland vs Glen Tapia: 718,000
  • Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Joseph Agbeko: 550,000
Showtime Championship Boxing
  • Average Viewers: 489,000
  • Sakio Bika vs Anthony Dirrell: 446,000
  • Erislandy Lara vs Austin Trout: 429,000
  • Devon Alexander vs Shawn Porter: 515,000
  • Zab Judah vs Paulie Malignaggi: 640,000
First they are judging off of one fight and second it was a split viewership night with Showtime...who by the way had a better card (name wise).
Now go back to Rigondeaux-Donaire, which brought in 1.1 million viewers.

I wouldn't expect Rigo-Donaire numbers every time...but at least it seems you would make Rigo a part of your telecast.

I hope he goes to ST. HBO

Not according to some posters :mjpls:

Some nikkas think Danny Garcia has concrete in his gloves...some nikkas think Matthysse won erry round against Molina including the kds...some nikkas think Schaeffer (who holds no long term interest of Canelo) paid off Tony Weeks to stop the Angulo fight

Dumb nikkas think dumb things:manny:

In all seriousness tho theres gotta be pages N pages of back N forths regarding the money split N Roach N Arum bytching about what jmm deserves...im too lazy to dig em up:steviej:

Regardless if it was compassion or not... Rios got his ass whooped 12 rounds straight.Pac didn't take any unnecessary risks, yet was still the agressor. Thats a habit i'm thrilled he picked up... When Manny was kO'ing nikkas, people were saying he was a brainless brawler with no D.... Now Pac is fighting a lot smarter... nikkas wanna say he's too compasionate and lost his killer instinct... Thats bullshyt when a guy like Floyd NEVER goes for a KO, then its "sweet science"... "outclassed"..etc

You can't compare the two.

Floyd doesn't have many close rounds to leave in the judges hands when he faces quality opponents. He clearly wins at least 8-9 rounds every fight. (You could argue Chino won 5 rounds)

Manny stole JMM3 because the judges saw it for him and got robbed in TB1 because the judges saw it for Tim.

If Manny had Floyd's defensive and counter punching, he should absolutely box smart and pick his flurries carefully.

But he doesn't, and leaves the door open for judges to call toss up rounds potentially against him.

He can easily catch one from Garcia if he attacks only and will win/lose close rounds trying to box.

Can he put it altogether against a worthy opponent whose is younger and stronger?

We'll see.

JMM did not get robbed in the 3rd fight with Pac.. JMM didn't win more than 4 rounds decisively, but there were a lot of close rounds that could've went either way.. I called a draw, and wouldn't have cried robbery if either JMM or Pac won... Even if you look at the all the unnofical score cards here
57 scored the bout for Marquez, 51 scored the bout for Pacquiao, and the remaining 36 scored the bout a draw.
Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez (3rd meeting) - Boxrec Boxing Encyclopaedia 35% to 39% with the rest calling it a draw is way too close to call that fight a robbery

Pac WAS absolutely robbed in the 1st fight with TB though.. and if you look at the unnofficial scorecards here as well, you see xan understand the outrage and why nikkas was like fukk a rematch at first
Among the experts above, 121 scored the bout for Pacquiao, 3 scored it for Bradley and 1 had it a draw
Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley (1st meeting) - Boxrec Boxing Encyclopaedia

As far as the rest of the shyt your saying... its bullshyt :manny: ever since the KO manny has been effectively using his counter punch, stepped his defense up dramatically and is boxing nikkas ears off... Its obvious you didn't watch his last two fights though...

As far as Danny Garcia outboxing KOing Manny.. you're on crack and are severely underestimating Pac's boxing ability and chin like he Amir Khan status or something... Swift would get beat by Bradley, but he's rollng over Pac..Get all the way the fukk outa here :camby: I pray to god they make this match first before they try to put Pac in the ring with Canelo

Yeah...it is his last fight. Being that he hasnt fought it yet, I put 1 fight closer. After this fight, he should go to run as fast as he can to GBP

SIKE!

He better join up with Al Haymon as soon as he can:ohlawd:

N what makes you so sure Tim Bradley beats Swift??

His inability to stick to a game plan??
Him constantly getting dragged into slugfests??
Wide arm punches dying to be countered??
His lack of size N punching power??

Why do I keep reading Danny Garcia cannot beat Timothy Bradley?:dwillhuh:

Timothy Bradley doesnt do anything that can bring any real trouble to Danny Garcia except his speed (hands and feet). He's not all that defensive and not that accurate of a puncher with no power. I cant even honestly say he has better "skill" than Danny Garcia does:manny:

What.....is he gonna hit Garcia with pillows until he falls over?:dead:

I cant see it brehs:yeshrug:
