and who is that lil pinoy boy who assists roach now? he been with them for good minute now, but who the fuc k is he?>
the lil bionic boy was training khan for the garcia fight, lol.
This is a story from Last October:Tried looking him up, but couldn't find much. From what I know I thought Roach met him through Pacquiao and brought him on as an assistant, basically to be there with Manny when he couldn't. Now, Roach goes off and trains his biggest fighters at their best moments and when another fighter needs attention at the same time, his assistant (Marvin Somodio) takes over.
Have heard Freddie say a couple times that when he retires, he will turn over his gym to Marvin.
Are you really defending those bytchmade "punches" Broner threwAB averaged 61 punches thrown a round against Carlos Molina landing at 43%
Even threw 96 punches in round 7
I agree though, he HAS to let his hands go. He throws beautiful combinations and connects so cleanly, but he has to take that same mindset he had against Molina about throwing tons of punches, and keep it for future fights
He has the tools to be a force, he just has to use em.

We're doing big things down at strawweightBy Anson Wainwright
Earlier today BoxingScene.com was advised by sources out of Japan that Katsunari Takayama, the IBF strawweight champion, and Francisco Rodriguez Jr., the WBO 105-pound boss, will meet on August 9 in Monterrey, Mexico.
The intriguing looking fight pits the 31-year old boxer Takayama 27-6, 10 stoppages with 1 No-Contest versus the heavy handed 21-year old Rodriguez 14-2 with 10 knockouts.
Editor's Note: The August 9 headliner marks just the fifth title unification bout in the history of the strawweight division. Kazuto Ioka defeated Akira Yaegashi (now the lineal flyweight king) in 2012, the first time two reigning titlists from Japan met in a unification fight. The other three occasions all involved Ricardo Lopez in the 1990's (TKO5 Alex 'Nene' Sanchez in 1997; a technical draw with Rosendo Alvarez in 1998 and then a split decision win over Alvarez in their rematch later that year). – JD

shyt like this makes you realize how retarded those coli posters>>>pro fighters arguments are.

Breh...why even waste your time entertaining that silly shyt.
I knew i was done discussing boxing or any sort of combat sport with nikkas outside the RING when a handful of dudes in that "freekie london" thread a while back were seriously implying that people who WATCH MMA...not train in...but WATCH MMA regularly have a better chance in a street fight against a nikka who box for a living.
