Just finished watching Provo/Algieri. While in my opinion on first glance, Provo won mainly due to how more effective and more damaging his shots were, I cannot deny that Algieri sucked it up, toughed it out, and put on an absolute boxing clinic while showing a lot of heart. I can't cry robbery when I see the numbers, and without a doubt, Chris outworked Ruslan. Might have to watch it again to give it a more definitive score. Still, props to Algieri for fighting through that eye, going the full 12, and getting the win, while showcasing outstanding skill and tremendous will. Even though he's no power puncher, he moves so well and boxes so crisply, and with the tenacity and courage he has, he's a guy that I have no problems with watching in the near future.
