well, his stamina may not be the best....thats why his fights are dull sometimes because he likes to box and coast late. he wasnt able to do that in this fight. he keeps his hands low and it got exploited. Gamboa is very tough fighter to deal with but he is kind of a lazy boxer. once Crawford got the timing down Gamboa could reach him without gambling. when he gambled, he paid the price.

also, gamboa let his emotions and pride get in the way. Went head forward swinging wildly at Crawford when he knew crawford was too big for him. Gamboa should stayed on the outside, but noooooo he went straight after craw and craw countered heavily.

Gamboa needs better discipline and defense.

50 is a terrible promoter..He doesn't know how to hand pick opponents yet.. That reach let dude jab him easy.

this is 50 fault :wtf:

who the fuk was gamboa supposed to fight then? he has years of experience and not too mentioned he really no choice but to take a fight like this. this is the fight everybody wanted to see gamboa in. gamboa has looked lazy, boring and uninterested in his last 3 fights against lower level competition. crawford brought the best out in him imo. im sure hbo will want gamboa back.

this is how you become a star. i'm fed up with these up and coming prospects who can't face adversity. they get their first real challenge and completely self implode....talk about going back to the drawing board and shyt. fukk that....this is the drawing board. gamboa was givin crawford that work the first 4 rounds....but crawford stayed composed, dug deeper, and took the necessary risks to come back and whoop gamboa's ass. the technical ability is great, but you also gotta have the ability to bang when it's needed, and crawford showed that he does. he took some hard ass shots to get this victory. this def won't be the last great fight of his career.

The big lights are not easy perform under, he was tentative as fukk as the beginning, that's why gamboa was getting off, he had to get his confidence

Might 've at @synistr too:patrice: have to check the threads been a while, wasnt too many people on board though:comeon:

I just think we are looking at a future great. Not because of his skill alone but because of his IQ and his mentality. he is patient and he has a good chin. a lot of guys have the skills to be great. they just dont have the intangibles. I been saying for a while.....Crawford will beat Broner. Although Broner has some good intangibles, Crawford is just the more skillful fighter...offensively and defensively.
