I actually box, and the construction of Reyes gloves are very different than Grants. Grants have majority of the padding in the front by the knuckle and by design are meant to protect the hand by muffling the impact (which is why floyd uses them so much with his humpty dumpty fists)
Reyes the padding is distributed more evenly and acts as a handwrap (keeping the bones of the hand together to prevent it from breaking)
