Perhaps but you root for BandCan't. They have rehab for that you know.
Nah I'm good.
I'm pretty objective with everyone I rep for. I'm fully aware of Broner's limitations and flaws.

Dan Rafael chat wrap 8/1:
- Thurman will fight this fall, but he has not heard his name linked to the Mayweather undercard at all.
- Talking with Rios for his fight vs Chavez, he said he would like to win another title, but it is not a priority. He wants to fight the best guys and be remembered like Gatti.
- If Rios wins there is a good chance we see Rios-Provodnikov at the end of the year.
- Purses: Rios (925K), Chavez (25K + Argentina TV revenue), Vargas (120k), Novikov (105k)
- No real info on Cotto's next opponent...Rubio wouldn't shock him.
- Al and GB are doing business still because they need each other. Things will change in the not too distant future.
- Thinks Soliman is likely opponent for GGG. Doubts the winner of Cotto-Canelo (assuming they fight) fights GGG right after.
- Chisora-Fury II is trying to be rescheduled for October.
- Chanelo-Kirkland is a possibility, not near being done.
- Andre Ward needs to stay in his lane. (regarding calling out 160, but disregarding 175).
- Shannon Briggs is really that delusional.
- RJJ has major financial issues.
- Cotto's next fight in December likely on regular HBO, not PPV.
- If RJJ ever got a Cruiserweight title shot, HBO would not televise it...and RJJ would be expected to lose vs any of the current champions.
- James Toney fight cancelled last weekend...because he heard James Toney just didn't show up.
- Glen Tapia's failed blood test - he has a health condition (life long) that makes it more difficult for his blood to clot.
- Hopkins next fight still TBD. He is trying to fight Stevenson, but Stevenson may be iced because of the lawsuit against him. If so, he will try to fight Kovalev.
- He tapes every fight on and burns them on DVD's (in the old school on VHS). Estimates he has nearly 7,000 DVD's/VHS with fights.
- If they both win on 9/6, likelihood of Broner-Matthysse next...unlikely.
- Thought the point taken away against Perez was fair, but didn't like it.

Rios making more than GGG did his last fight![]()
