Does that actually cause colds? Or is that just an old wise tale? Either way it's a double edge sword. Cold weather will keep people inside, but if they're right about warmer weather killing the bug, we need that too.
People tend to underdress when the weather is warm for a while. When the temp suddenly drops, it catches them by surprise.

you should expect a lot of your local favorite restaurants to close. that industry simply isn't built to withstand a sudden government imposed shutdown which essentially limits them from making hardly any revenue these days
