My grandma stay off 103/King Drive

Her block and the blocks around her are beautiful, people that been there 30+ years. Old heads that are retired government workers, Ford plant, CTA etc

You go down a few blocks west towards Michigan ave it’s a whole different story

You can tell that those people around 107th and Wallace and whatnot have no desire of putting their homes on the market. They are preserving their neighborhood and want no shady outsiders.

Lol theres a white family STILL living on 73rd n honore...they never left from when the area was white lol...first caught wind of em bout 15 to 20 yrs ago due to being in the area alot

Those are low-key mansions in that area..

Naw they regular homes like Chatham. You thinking further west by Western. Thing is most of the people over here have owned their homes since the early 70s when cacs ran the fukk out of here. That why everything still looks nice.

yeah that always gets me too...humboldt park and even e. garfield park is like that going west. oak park and austin is like that too. that one is a doozy.


sometimes right in the middle of the certain hood you'll see just one street that is just completely unlike the rest. not even that you're having to to the next block - houses be real nice, manicured lawns, nice everyday cars. . you can tell those are the people who been there for generations.

I peeped game early on the chicago&oak park border line I had to be around 9-10 i use to visit my uncle who own that building on Austin &Washington I use to playball so that's how I got around the city playing in different towns parts and suburban areas in the Chicagoland area mind u I'm visiting my fam in atl I witnessing two different worlds I was down in atl during that freaknic shyt but I was kid in 94-96 & the bulls in the hood got the westside litty Im glad I've witness the 90s era as a child I saw alot kind of corrupt young black kids minds u learn about the streets on subconscious level it's like a spirit hits u turn u into a young savage

Chicago is a weird ass place always been since birth I grew up in projects beverly hills(evergreen park) chatman westside holycity oak park West loop now Hyde park its crazy how one block will have the cleanest wealthiest block then go down 1.5 blocks nun but bandos rodents junkies asking u for change. Chicago is like one big melting pot now since all the buildings got torn down. It's kind of weird when u see Bentleys Porsches phantoms etc posted up in the hood but I barely see that when I'm in the rich&wealthy parts of the city
