I hate (and love) Chicago jerk spots.

Food be so good

Customer service so atrocious


At this point, they are so indifferent to the customer complaints (because every spot is rightfully accused of having terrible service), they don't even try to act like they care


When you know mfers are feening for your product, you got it made


Was way out south earlier and about 30 minutes before my appointment ended I was going to call Jerk Villa to put in an order. Called like 5 times and phone never dialed lol. Straight up busy dial tone. I didn't know phones even still did that.

I avoid this by going to JERK on Chicago & Halsted. It's a chain and the food is fire. U even earn points with each purchase. I literally CANNOT with shyt service anymore.

Had ja grill in Hyde park and it was terrible. Oxtails were fukking tough as leather smh. I judge spots based on their oxtail and the cabbage. That will tell you all you need to know.

Very busy because jerk taco man is the king of proper portion sizes. You really get your money’s worth there...damn near can save some for later most of the time

No, they cook in bulk....think like Maxwell street with how the burgers, dogs and onion are right there sitting on the grill ready to go....Only thing you gotta wait for is the stuff like pizza or large amounts of a chicken
