yea cuz with Staub they went back to airing shyt out again, harder to sell the program and maintain buzz playing offense the way they were with Salter. I said it during the game but they should have trusted Staub's development and brought in another regular QB to compete and provide depth, not one with a high price tag like Salter. What Staub did against Utah as a true freshman on the road with no running game and a shyt line should have earned him some more trust. You could have then transitioned to Juju easier down the road in the season once he got some more seasoning if Staub isn't playing well.Well Prime hasn’t officially confirmed it. However, I just don’t see Salter starting against Houston. Dude is averaging 5 yards per pass.
The more I listen to Prime’s post game interviews, the more I’m convinced that this is what he wanted. He just needed politically justify the decision, especially a position as important as the QB position. Who knows what type of shyt he deals with behind the scenes.
Now with all that being said watch Staub play like shyt vs Houston
