Delaware bout to cost Salter his jobIf he's great then I'll be happy to be wrong.
However, this shyt feels like when Prime was giving Charlie #1 carries. Its Delaware. Eventually their inferior secondary was going to give up chunk plays. A prime situation for Juju (just 17) to get development or Kaidon to get more comfortable with the offense.
Again the surprise to me is the QB comp was mostly Salter and Juju and now its the 3rd string QB in week 2 already (cause of Delaware??)
If Prime felt this way he should have pulled Kaidon last week then.
You can’t even use your receivers with Salters man. This is pathetic

He's cooked now. He actually played well early in the game, but as RG3 said playing and then sitting for 2 Qrts isnt easy. He mentally checked out.Salter done

But shiiit Staub may be for real
That was sarcasm fam.Its Delaware

Better hope Staub is the real deal cause Im sure Juju feels some type of way as well. I aint seen him stand by none of the QBs

Thats fair. However, you have two options...He played well, but look at the playcalling. Shurmur basically called the same game as last week due to Salter’s limitations. The offense with Salters isn’t sustainable in conference play. There is just no way he is going to last this season as a starter.
It’s a sad situation. CU made a mistake recruiting him. He should be playing his senior year either at a none P4 school or a run heavy school where you don’t necessarily need an accurate passing game.

Either continue to tweak the offense towards his skillset and hope he gets more comfortable with the system. Or you actually use the Delaware game to get your freshman ready until he's ready to take over against good comp.
Maybe I'm comparing the situation to close to Charlie. However, thats the vibe I feel once the comp gets better.
Just take the lumps with your freshman QB and then go with the belief he'll better for it later in the year and next year. If Prime as constantly getting quality Qbs or it was before the portal era I wouldnt sweat it.
Hopefully JuJu stays engaged and not already looking at his options.
