At least the classic story from the 1960s was a throwaway imaginary story. The modern Red/Blue story was an extended arc.

Facts. This entirel series i'd been patiently (
) waiting for the brehs to get their time in the sun... so this anti-climatic ass turn of events was wack. But you're right, the way it played out and what we saw and didn't see... it lends itself to a misdirection
My level of not caring about The Inhumans is proven by my completely forgetting to include my thoughts on the issue in my post listing the books I read this week.
Justice League #5 was piff.
I was iffy on bringing back the Legion of Doom, but that issue sold me. The idea of the Justice League being aspirational while the Legion represents rejecting that to just be what you are, and the idea that Luthor's side eventually wins out (even tying it into the Legion of Superheroes) is so good and exactly the kind of themes I want in my superhero stories.
