Think I gotta add it to essential readings in OP. It’s great for the X-Men mythos. I also recommend the X-Force run by Kyle and Yost that dropped before UXF.Yeah I stopped reading comics around the late 2000s so I missed out on a lot. Slowly started getting back into them when Avengers came out in 2012 but got back full time when DC launched Rebirth.
shyt is dope! The most fun I've had reading comics in a long time!

How the hell did I miss out on Remender's Uncanny X-Force run?!Just finished Volume 1 and that was some of the best X-Men stuff I've read in YEARS! I need to order volume 2 ASAP.
It didn't get much of an advertising push cause it launched during the Age of Heroes flaccidness.
The best Marvel books during that period were Avengers Academy and Uncanny X-Force.
Both got shyt tons of acclaim from fans. Neither were really pushed by Marvel.

And X-Force had a strong 3-4 year run tht started even before Remender (and Opena), with Kyle & Yost. Cyke was like "Let's get em" and it was good since...

Anybody fukk with Love & Rockets? I remember seeing it in wizard magazine when I was a kid but never checked for it in comic shops since I was solely into the standard superhero comics back then.
Anyway, now that I'm much, much older I have an interest in all of those independent non superhero comics that the adults were into in the 80s and early to mid 90s.
Downloaded one of the books on comixology and I'm digging it. Helping to pass this quarantine right along
