They are all connected because of what happened in Ultimate Universe #1 (and the set up of that world, that is in the pages of the mostly bland Ultimate Invasion, both written by Hickman).

My guess is that they'll let Spidey, BP and X-Men cook for 3-6 issues before forming the Ultimates and dealing with the bigger plot that Hickman established in UU#1 and Ultimate Invasion.

Not sure if they'll make a new book for that or they'll do a crossover that happens in the pages of the 3 books.

Ok Thank you!

I did buy the Ultimate Invasion books, but didn’t read them. I’ll go back

Ultimate Spider-Man was great because it really helped give narrative weight to Ultimate Universe/Ultimate Invasion, which those issues are lacking if you read them by themselves

Maker stopping the spider from biting Peter = :ehh:

Fast forwarding twenty years and Peter is married with kids and never became Spider-Man = :ohhh:

Manhattan getting blown up by Maker's Council at the end of Ultimate Universe #1 = :ld:

Learning Aunt May died in that attack = :mindblown::damn::mjcry:

All those deaths are in the pages of Ultimate Universe #1 though, there's a panel with the list of the known characters that got got.

Ultimate Spidey gives the weight to those deaths though, that's for sure.

Is this right? Is Eve L. Ewing's run on Black Panther really that bad?

I have all the issues, but I haven't read any of them yet. I haven't even finished John Ridley's run tbh. One because I've fallen extremely far behind on comics the last several months, and two because John Ridley is on my shyt list after that bullshyt he pulled with Lucius Fox :pacspit:

Avengers Twilight by Zdarsky was interesting. Thought the first 3/4 were dope but after the "reveal" of Luke Cage and the Defenders it kinda ended in a :ld: note. I hope there's more to this than what we were told this issue.

Acuña's art was :wow: though, a dope looking comic book for sure.

:blessed:I’m happy more bruhs are speaking louder about this. The recent writers for these Black Panther runs been horrible.

If a person stopped reading the X books around the time Hickman's run was coming to an end, where would they pick up? I don't care much about any unimportant side stuff. I'm just interested in knowing how everything played out with Orchis and about what ultimately happens with Krakoa.
