Well then for the most part the only thing you'd have to really worry about is making sure you don't have your credit card info tied to your PSN account or the email you associate with your PSN account. Very important because 77 million PSN accounts were compromised

Reports: 77 Million PlayStation Network Accounts Compromised | PCWorld

Now whats alarming is after that happened, the "keys" as they call it was released into the wild. What that means is, there is no such thing as fixing an exploit on PSN anymore (Tru fukkin Story) because...

And what happened after that profound statement by a developer?
PlayStation 3: The Final Hack? • Blogs • Eurogamer.net
What this means is they can't stop things like...

And any game that later becomes "popular" will attract the same type of cheaters.

Now if you wanna play online with either GTA4 (and soon GTA5) or Assassins Creed? like Bud asked about?
Well, expect this to happen DAY ONE GTA5 PS3
mods hack menu lobby gta iv online ps3 - YouTube

Because like I been saying, they can no longer stop it. If anyone is not sure of what I'm saying, just name the game and i'll show you what is going on...
@Cockmeat Sandwich

What exactly is your point for this thread? Can you sum up in 3-4 short sentences?

This can happen to any system, PSN or not. Once they have that low level access it's a wrap.

There's hackers across all consoles and I myself have seen a few on Live he past month. It is system independent.

Lastly, MS has super strict control (which is why you're paying double for Netflix :russ:), and it also saves them when it comes to online play since they are gatekeepers across different checks with live account, system serial numbers, live code generation and credit card numbers. It's a lot harder to hide in Live. The con to that is you're at the mercy of Microsoft should anything happen, good or bad.

For the future, things could easily be changed that the PS4 has stronger security. The better route has proven to be hardware linking so if you're caught that console is nuked. They'll go buy another one and it makes you more money.

I won't be merging this thread just yet, but NOBODY can say I didn't warn Court:
OK, listen up:

@Cockmeat Sandwich aka Courtdog aka MATTRESS

This is the only warning I'm going to give you...I've had to merge several of your threads into this one, and frankly, I'm tired of wasting my time.

Hell, you're blatantly ignoring the forum wide announcement on redundant threads:

bk said:
Please read ATLEAST the first page of the forum before making a new thread. There is no need to have multiple threads on the exact same topic. It is not necessary to create a new thread just to share your personal opinion on an already established topic.

We prefer to not merge threads because it makes it difficult to read the end result so if you make a new thread on an existing topic it will likely be locked or deleted. Repeat offenders will lose their ability to make threads.

I've bolded the important parts for you, just in case you have trouble. Don't get Junior'd on this forum...it's very simple:

stop making the same thread over and over and over.

It's not hard, really. There's no need for this to even happen.

Value your thread creating privileges before they get revoked.
You literally forced my hand, despite the incredible amount of leeway I've given you.

AND FOR WHAT? These dumb ass threads, man. Get a grip.

i dont really play fps games so & my credit card info was never on the psn network

just saying man.
Thats good for you. But there are plenty of more ps3 gamers on this website who may have used there credit card info, or there main emails when signing up for a ps3 account. This info isn't really talked about when it should be stickied for consumer protection. Moving on...
@Cockmeat Sandwich

junk email and I use PSN cards. :manny:
Then you safe. Did you always roll this way or did you make the switch when sony forced everybody to???
Just curious, because after PSN went down. Everybody was vigilant about keeping there info safe. Then a month goes by and ppl I guess thought sony was hard at work at making sure this would never happen again, right?

What exactly do you want OP? You say to prove you wrong. In what regard? Whether there are COD cheats? Whether there are system-wide cheats? I haven't played COD in a long time but the last time I played on PS3 was when cheats had just begun and it was really annoying. I haven't experience in any other online game I've played for PS3 which really mostly only consists of fighters these days. And soon, Anarchy Reigns as soon as I get to fire that up.
The PSN issue is a huge deal. You would even call it a deal breaker :leon:
When I say prove me wrong, its carried around here like if the info I'm posting is false.
Like if I'm over here making a fanboy thread with no merit. The truth is ps3 gamers have no idea what they are playing against.
I used to go around saying the same dumbshyt, then one day I decided to just look. It started back during the Uncharted 2 days (which was my favorite game this gen) I would beast out, then noticed how sometimes dudes would have the best of me... I then peep'd something off
Uncharted 2 lets you watch replays of the round, I do that and see a nikka underneath the level going HAM.
I look this up, and find out this exploit been going on for over a year :what:
I see that there is a melee glitch, some ppl have it where they can carry 3 instead of 2 weapons. All this crazy shyt, and sony/naughtydawg never did shyt to fix it (they did for the first 2/3months) and everytime they supposedly did a patch, the same shyt was still going on? So I realized then that sony isn't quick to fix a problem. Uncharted 2 was there main game and they don't care? :mindblown: I then saw the same shyt in Uncharted 3, its the reason I stopped playing it. As a gamer, I'm pissed off about it.
But most ps3 gamers seem to not care, and then casually say "It doesn't affect me"
YES THE fukk IT DOES
So I'm proving it in this thread. And if anything I have been saying is false?
Please prove me wrong, that goes for anyone :yeshrug:
If they can't, why fight the educator???

Too many ppl (not you) seem to have hurt feelings by this? If they don't like it, there are a bunch of other threads on this website they could hang out in na mean?

Post the truth about where you stand as a father. Or should I say sperm donor? You care more about stanning a dam game system than you do about your kids. They go to school saturated in feces and urine scent and rather than get em a new mattress, you resort to posting on here. Pretty sad the kids don't even have a dam sheet on the bed but you're real fast to say I'm gonna buy that new 720. I'm just a phone witnessing all this from a broken beaten down nightstand. Sad you don't even dedicate this much time to your seeds but you Stan a shytty system made out of plastic. :mattress::mattress::mattress::mattress::sadbron: :umad:

This is very true about how its harder to do anything illegal on XBL, but you said at there mercy. True if there mercy consist of nothing. But XBL as a service is well worth it, more so than any other service imo. I enjoy multiplayer with more security, I want something to happen if cheaters are ruining my experience. This is what you get with XBL, and having to pay for it has everything to do with that. If it was free, it would be handled like it is on psn. A level playing field is important to me. I know on PC yall don't give a shyt. But on consoles, we don't play that. I stopped playing GTA 4 on xbox because when that game was released. I recall having recroom matches with Chewy's bytchass often hosting!!! We'd play the boat race joint.. we had crews of 4 going ham on each other.
Most gamers from the recroom stopped playing GTA4 online in 2 weeks.
I stayed on... and quickly ran into gamers who couldn't die. And they'd brag about it. I learned on how people was creating modded versions of GTA4 available for download there.
The mods was built into the disc somehow.. so I didn't play it for about a year. A year later, I play and I don't encounter any of that.
What I do know is XBL has ways of detecting if ppl are using mods/scripts/etc or if you make a complaint? They as good as gone cuz they'll look at there stats.. then they'll look deeper and eventually boot thee offender. Hence why its a safer, better, pay to use network imho.

Bruh, I wouldn't have to repeat it if you didn't take it down in the first place FOR NO VALID REASON. Your initial reason was bunk, its just you being a fakkit cuz I get under your skin. The thread you made has you talkin a bunch of shyt basically telling on yourself. Like BK or whoever couldn't easily see your true motives? :rudy:

Are you serious :wtf:

First off, why the fukk are you even asking me this dumbshyt? I don't get why you are questioning, I'm making a thread of info that isn't really KNOWN
Its stuff people have heard of, and then usually gets knocked down as false by the locals
. I'm proving its not false, that its not just some isolated shyt that doesn't affect anybody really. I'm making it clear that PSN as of right now is a playground for hackers to do as they please. Be that ridiing a toilet or a dildo in any game they choose (hid yo kids), or stealing your info if that was there ultimate goal.(hid yo husbands) You are at risk of all this at all times if you hop onto PSN

You'd think that is a crazy thing to say, but its FACT.

If you believe me, cool. If you don't, I would like to prove it to you (whoever you are)
Why do I have to explain that to you or anyone else is why I'm like "Why the fukk...."

Whats with all the flashlights for?

Why would chewy see this thread and be like ":sadbron: I'll move it"
Like if there is another thread anywhere like this one? :stopitslime:
There isn't, and I am free to talk about whatever the fukk interest ME
And if what interest me doesn't interest anybody else? This thread would fall to the latter pages like all of fatboi's threads.

So the truth is nikkaz is just upset over anything Cockemeat related. Chewy in particular is a habitual line stepper. He consistently targets me because of "beef" and abuses his MOD privileges because of this "beef"
You know me well, so you know if chewy attempts to get at me this way, I'm not gonna let him :hula: I've never stepped on your toes, or liquids, or any other mod. Just Exo... and now Chews for the same reasons.
I guess I could run to BK, but I"m sorry I"m a little too hood for all this fakkit shyt
I'd rather chewy take me out, and him deal with the backlash than to cry to BK about how one of his mods has it in for me

I mean, if that is really what this community wants? I'll exit: Stage Left :cape:

This is very true about how its harder to do anything illegal on XBL, but you said at there mercy. True if there mercy consist of nothing.

What I meant was MS's word is law on all things related to your account. Whatever they say or want goes - you are at their mercy. Accidentally banned during one of the "waves"? Oh well. I've had it happen on my sister's first XBOX so it's not all hot air. There's nothing like that on PS3 as far as I know, but it goes to show how too much control can have a negative impact on your experience.

That is your choice if you want to spend your money that way.

I know on PC yall don't give a shyt. But on consoles, we don't play that.

PC gamers are much more serious about anti-cheating mechanisms. How else do you think MS integrates it so well into consoles? It all started on the PC. Being much easier to do such things on the PC, games go the extra mile to defend their software from malicious code.

Oh, and the Next XBOX is going to be very close to Windows, the most virus riddled and easily hacked OS out there... :spooky:

The mods was built into the disc somehow.. so I didn't play it for about a year. A year later, I play and I don't encounter any of that.

It isn't exactly hard to slipstream stuff like that into an ISO of a game. What's sad is you can launch said ISOs and still jump on Live. :shaq2:

What I do know is XBL has ways of detecting if ppl are using mods/scripts/etc or if you make a complaint? They as good as gone cuz they'll look at there stats.. then they'll look deeper and eventually boot thee offender. Hence why its a safer, better, pay to use network imho.

This is nothing that isn't already done on the PC. You can have something simple like memory reporting to see if there's anything extra being used as far as externals go, but of course hacks tend to get more elaborate. Random memory access locations, slipstreaming malicious data into the ISO, heck even piggybacking off of the wired or wireless signals to load up a cheat.

No system is exempt. And props to Mighty Healthy for doing his mod job. :salute:
