You fixed the HDMI yourself or you had Sony fix it for $140?
I fixed it myself, it's pretty easy if you are comfortable soldering. I got the PS4 for $125 and the HDMI Port can be bought for $15 on eBay. I don't like how Sony handles exchanges and repairs overall. On top of having to wait a while to get your system or a replacement back, you always have to give them copy of the receipt even though they should be able to track when and where your system was purchased. Microsoft is better at that.

If you are going to attempt to fix the HDMI, make sure the pads on the actual motherboard are clean. I've seen some bad attempts from people trying to fix it themselves and permanently damaging the pads. The only way to be sure is to buy one that the warranty seal is still in tact. Most on eBay go for about $150, but you will catch a few desperate ones letting it go for $125 shipped.

Dude selling an Xbox One for $80 on CL. He said it powers on and instantly turns off. I'm gonna cop and plug it up to my second power supply and if it works I'll warranty out the one his comes with and sell it to mostly pay for the second Xbox One. Or I may just sell the second one for $250 as working.

That is most likely a bad PSU, did the guy try opening it before?

Xbox is unopened. It wasn't the power supply. I plugged it up to a known good one and it powers on for a few minuted then turns back off and goes in a loop.

How many minutes? Do you have it connected straight to the outlet?

Not straight to the outlet through a surge protector. The first time it was maybe 2-3 minutes then it dropped out and loops and doesn't make it past the splash screen. the kid registered it and put in a service request before selling it so I'm trying to get him to cancel it so I can transfer it to me. He claims it's still under warranty. it was manufactures 10-2-2014 so unless it was sold mere days after it was made it still should be but likely not for long.

Yeah Craigslist really depends on your location. I'm down in here Florida in a college town so I eat pretty good on Craigslist. The only thing is you have to have patience. The only bad deal I made was buying an iPhone 5C instead of waiting to cop a iPhone 5S a few weeks later for only $50 more.
