I fixed it myself, it's pretty easy if you are comfortable soldering. I got the PS4 for $125 and the HDMI Port can be bought for $15 on eBay. I don't like how Sony handles exchanges and repairs overall. On top of having to wait a while to get your system or a replacement back, you always have to give them copy of the receipt even though they should be able to track when and where your system was purchased. Microsoft is better at that. You fixed the HDMI yourself or you had Sony fix it for $140?
If you are going to attempt to fix the HDMI, make sure the pads on the actual motherboard are clean. I've seen some bad attempts from people trying to fix it themselves and permanently damaging the pads. The only way to be sure is to buy one that the warranty seal is still in tact. Most on eBay go for about $150, but you will catch a few desperate ones letting it go for $125 shipped.
