Me and my friends were gonna do the Suitland drum circle on Juneteenth but then when we just found out about this event:

We’re gonna hit up this instead since my friends are artists. I wish the Creative Suitland drum circle would start earlier than 3 PM, I don’t know why they wanna do that so late

Btw y’all, make sure both you and your loved ones stay extra hydrated this week. I was at the Tropical Smoothie in Clinton earlier and this older breh (looked to be in his 50’s) walked inside and just suddenly fainted in front of the door. Me and a couple other customers helped him back up and he was speaking fine so it wasn’t a stroke thankfully but he seemed a lil dazed from what happened. The employees gave him a large cup of ice and water. I was thinking he must’ve been gradually dealing with heat fatigue or something. It was 84 degrees too, so be sure to keep cool whenever y’all can.

Parking problem is bad in the city tho….metro need to get on there shyt and expand weekend service…
But I know some off the radar restaurant and bars that are doing well cause people don’t want to deal with the potential headache….so I guess it balances out
That Moechella line up is fiyaaa tho…Shame I got to work that day too…I’m glad they pushing family friendly environment tho, that’s the way you bridge with the younger generation…Hopefully the peace maintains itself and the bud smoke don’t get out of hand cause some of these bammas are smoking some other shyt fr…

You already know you got to pull up in the Solbi, bonadacci or madness bucket hat and short sleeve pull up, tshirt or hoodie, the socks if you got them but the sponge socks will do if you want to take it a lil back lol w/ cargo shorts of course, ACGs or foams but balances can do....can't forget the thick ass team/brand key chain around ya kneck....
I would go CD/LR era polo/backpack Kanye if you still want to kill it and don't want to go to inside baseball

That area won’t “gentrify” in the traditional sense but white peoples will definitely start moving in. Blacks people not leaving that area and have money to stay in their homes.
the Hispanic neighborhoods in northern Prince georges will definitely gentrified in a traditional sense. You’ll probBly see the Hispanic population spread further across the county/state in the next few years

That prolly explains why I’m seeing a steady number of them out in Clinton, Oxon Hill, and Camp Springs more often nowadays. I wasn’t expecting them to come all the way down this side of PG
But yeah, I would definitely say Central, Southern, Rural Tier/Eastern and parts of Inner Beltway PG will be able to buffer against traditional gentrification and remain predominantly Black. I'm very sure Cacs want their dirty hands on Northern PG so fukking bad tho….A lot of those towns up that way got very attractive looking streetcar suburban housing stocks and Northern PG possibly got the best public transit offerings, walkability, retail shopping, brand new TOD-style apartment complexes, close proximity to both UMD and Downtown Silver Spring, gorgeous ass Lake Artemesia Park, and bountiful neighborhood amenities too. Hell, Beltsville, Berwyn Heights, and College Park are basically lil Cac islands in a sea of Hispanics and Africans lol
