Yeah PG County is becoming latino as fukk. My mother got the same house since the 90's growing up my direct neighbors across the street to the left, right and diagonal from me were white. Then some of them moved and died it it became black. Recently it's slowly becoming hispanic the last decade.
I think a lot of the DC people being moved out by gentrification surprisingly ain't been moving to PG County as much as you'd think. They're moving to Charles, Moco, Howard...I think those areas have better and more available low income housing programs. I know of a few bytches living in some nice apartments out Silver Spring taking advantage of their housing programs.
This is on point...People are gonna go where they feel resources are the most adequate and it’s just way more options compared to the past ..Migration patterns are all over the place it’s a sign of the times..I got homies who are life long DC residents who moved out to places like Richmond, Charlotte, Charleston cause they want too…
Latinos done made there presence felt full fledge now its not concentrated to a couple areas anymore and honestly I'm not even mad at them…This is not the west coast where they are more territorial and shyt but gottdamn when they come they come deep lolll
My aunt has a house in Cheverly off Cheverly ave right by where Pg hospital us to be....and i remember when her neighborhood was a proud 100% middle class black neighborhood...had regular meetings, annual community events and all that.....a lot of those people much like my aunt still own the homes but mostly rent it out for a variety of reasons....But Latinos just happened to be the most in demand and consistent clientele in the area
.....I guarantee this the case in a lot of areas in the countyBut yeah I got friends that live in DTSS in those newly built towers by Ga ave strip and the demographic is real live interesting to say the least
....

will probably make my move towards the end of 2022
