Lmao that’s what I was thinking soon as it got darker. I can’t lie tho, I was not expecting the crowd to be that big. Legit warms my soul that there’s such a large House community here in the DMV Hell, it was people from all over at the festival too. Me and this family from Baltimore were tryna make sense of the parking alongside the park because you never know when them tow trucks or parking enforcers be on that bullshyt in DC lol

14th St., Georgia Ave, Florida Ave, North Cap St., and even parts of Shaw (especially along 7th St) still look and feel like the hood too.

Those areashave spots that are worse than SE. I used to hang hang out with folk that were from Lenchmob, Barry Faarms and Simple City than stood clear of 14th and girard.

Not on a weekend with an event going on. They not gonna be towing, especially in that area. Policing is very different in those areas.

Yeah I’ve noticed MPD weren’t all over the place as they normally are in other parts of the city compared to how I assume they would be if the festival was at Malcolm X Park.

Btw breh, I arrived at the festival around 5:00ish, did they happened to have had any vendors by any chance? On IG, I saw videos of this really cool ass House festival that was happening in ATL yesterday and it was deep with vendors and it made me wonder why I didn’t see any at the Cap House Fest. I would’ve loved to have gotten a shirt from them.

Yeah Uptown, hell Norfwest in general outside of Downtown be feeling and looking like a whole different world for SE ppl. They be feeling like they’re in New York whenever they go up there lol. A lot of SE folks be surprised at how much NW hoods get it in, even got some yung dudes in the new generation who mistakenly think NW ppl are sweet as a result. I think even back in the 90’s, Norfwest was arguably rougher than Soufeast. My mom’s from Alabama Ave and so we spent majority of our time in SE even while living in PG, but only times I would remember us venturing out NW at the time was to visit my uncle or to go to the Zoo. I’m sure my mom went to a lotta of the GoGos in Uptown tho.

I live near PG mall aint shyt going down but brothels & migos kidnapping bytches in vans this Dominican dude did get popped around that area tho recently. I think in Chillum or Adelphi tho.You mighta heard of him.

Nah, they don't do vendors, it's a whole nother license they have to get for that.

They were selling shirts tho, at the side off the stage
