Just Blaze absolutely KILLED IT at the Rock The Park tonight :blessed:

Them Howard kids were out deep too, saw so many fine ass chocolate joints :wow:

This was definitely the best Rock The Park event yet. Just Blaze and the other DJs had a whole mixed playlist ready full of Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, House, GoGo, Soul, Reggae, Dancehall, Amapiano, and Afrobeats. Just straight up beautiful Black music being cranked with the whole crowd getting lit to it all.

This area has some truly ugly architecture for homes outside of the truly extravagant $4m+ neighborhoods and towns.

I was considering buying but everything is just ugly to me compared to the variety of architecture styles and character you get on the west coast (ranch homes/eichlers, Tudor, Mediterranean or spanish, craftsman, streamlined modern).

This actually may be a dealbreaker for me staying in this area, I’m not paying 700k+ for an architecturally unappealing home

no, it's the homes...there is a very ugly architectural style out here except for when you get into the very high end of homes like mclean, the very rich parts of NW DC, potomac, a few one-offs in arlington, etc. it's mostly ugly colonials, brick, or cookie cutter townhome or subdivision builds

you guys dont have homes that look like this

This. Location, location, location. This is the most important (and most profitable) thing. The millionaires I know in the area had no problem buying and then renovating their home's exterior and interior to their heart's delight as long as it was in the right location.

That 3rd housing architecture in the 1st spoiler definitely isn’t something you’ll see out here or anywhere on the East Coast for that matter :pachaha:

See if you can research on building your own home the way you like it. Not sure about the rest of the area but whenever I drive around back road parts of eastern/southeastern PG like Eagle Harbor or Upper Marlboro, some of them houses on massive property land be having some distinct features. But check if you still gotta abide by certain standards as far as architecture styles go.

You ever checked out the Baltimore area? There are some parts of Catonsville that got nice looking craftsmans.

Yup, name of the game out here fr. @dora_da_destroyer you could still do this but don’t live in a subdivision if you do…Or at least one that got an HOA with bullshyt rules regarding exterior alterations.

Ohh yeah update on my speeding ticket court case since it was this past Wednesday. I hired Christina Pendleton & Associates (they’re based in RVA and handle all things within the Central VA and Hampton Roads regions…Even found out Christina [she’s Asian and one of them big-named super lawyers] and her husband [who’s a breh] operate the whole firm together with a big team…They’re very diverse and mostly women). They offer flat rates and so due to my citation being a speeding ticket, I only had to pay them $100 upfront. They’ll ask you how were your interactions and etiquette with the officer that pulled you over and cited you, which is VERY KEY to whether they (or any lawyer really) are willing to work for you because remember, even tho the Judge gotta be fair, the Judge is more inclined to believe the police officer than yourself. They were very responsive to my emails and texts and all they required of me was a copy of my driving record (certified). They don’t make any promises but they are very honest on what the potential outcomes could be. Their main outcome for me was reduced fines/points or outright dismissal in exchange for attending online driving school in my home state (Maryland). I was represented by Christina Pendleton herself and she went to court in my stead since I wasn’t tryna travel nearly 2 hours to country ass Bowling Green, VA. She emailed me the “Closing Letter” and suffice it to say, she over performed :wow::wow::wow:

Shawdy managed to have the Judge (who is strict yet reasonable according to her firm) reduce my speeding infraction to generally defective equipment, which carries zero points on my DL (which also means no insurance rate hikes) and no required driving school :blessed: Even managed to reduce my court fees/fines from $203 to $196 that I gotta pay the court before Nov 26th.

If any of y’all get caught up in them speed traps down in Southern and Central VA, I highly recommend Christina Pendleton & Associates to represent y’all in court. They’re really nice peoples too and very affordable.
