Lmaooo I fukking love Maryland, even in the court system you can finesse your way outta certain shyt without too much issue

Hell, nikkas be going 0 to 90+ on 495 from the National Harbor exit all the way up to the Silver Spring/Georgia Ave exit every single day and night of the week, so I’m sure that trooper had other fish to catch and fry lol. And thankfully for you this was in PG County where cops be tied down with numerous incidents on their hands unlike them country ass jurisdictions in Central and Southern Virginia with their million camera/speed radar army


They wild as hell for telling you about your case being moved to Upper Marlboro at the last min tho Hyattsville a whole bop from that part of the County lol

My fine is surprisingly only $203. The cop was gonna give me reckless driving but caught me a break and just had me down for speeding (I was doing 80+ but he reduced it to 55/35).

I’m fine with whatever decision my soon-to-be lawyer will be able to give me so long as no points go on my license. Since I have a pretty spotless driving record tho, I wouldn’t be surprised if my ticket ends up getting dismissed.

My incidents were back in 2013 and 2014.
Virginia was a different place than it is now.
One of my coworkers caught a reckless a few months ago and the case got thrown out because the judge said the prosecution was colluding with the police officer to make changes with his testimony.
He was pulled over for going 108 in a 55.

Yea, if you're a black professional (AA black and non-AA black) then the DMV is Top 3 regions in the USA. There are few regions where you see so many well-to-do black folks from all walks of life. Large parts of PG are legit black excellence for miles on miles.

If y’all are a fan of the quirky and eccentric or just wanna spice things up a bit with your dating routine, y’all should check out the O Street Mansion Museum on 2020 O St. NW in DuPont Circle. Took a date there earlier today and it was actually very fun, even saw the room where Miles Davis and Cecily Tyson dinned in together

Also, if you’re a Beatles fan or know someone who is, I highly recommend this place as well. Check out their website for tickets and stuff.

incredible. It’s made with short rib, truffle, and some kind of special cheese. Never had anything like it.

the duck ravioli w: foie gras was great…as well as the sausage ragu pasta.

the tiramisu comes out as a chocolate sphere that they light on fire.

pretty much every course was A1. They just opened like 2 weeks ago, so the service is still getting there.

I’ll definitely be back

I absolutely love U Street but yeah I’m 29, so I wanna balance things out more nightlife-wise. I feel like Georgia Ave, Takoma, Capitol Hill, and The Wharf got more chill nightlife spots. You ever checked out the Downtown scene breh?

And one rooftop lounge I’ve been to that I highly recommend is Eaton DC. I’ve talked about it in a post several pages ago. I went there on Juneteenth this summer and it was crazy fun and a nice change of pace from the clubs and fukkery of U Street and Adams Morgan. It’s a boutique hotel that has its own radio station (they be playing some nice experimental/alternative music) and the lounge is at the top floor and it’s free entry (but make sure you show your ID at the door). They got a semi-wrap around balcony with tables and fire pits too. You can even dance on the platform where the DJ is spinning for the crowd too. The music was dope asf when I went….DJ was playing a lotta good shyt from the 90’s, 00’s, and 10’s from R&B to Hip Hop to Trap to Dancehall to GoGo. I saw on their IG that they had a House music DJ up there last weekend and it looked like fun as well. Their drinks can be a lil pricey, so try to go while you’re already hella tipsy at least.

The crowd is a lil mixed leaning towards Black and everybody be having a good time. No bad energy, negativity, or mean mugging going on at all. Just straight up good vibes.

Trains running every 30 minutes because they pulled ALL of the 7000 series trains out of service due to that derailment that happened last week. Imagine if this happened with pre-pandemic levels of service.

Even with a lot of folks that work from home, this is still going to be a mess on the roads.
