I was just at a Christmas party in Upper Marlboro Saturday. This chick my lady used to work with and her husband were having it

House was big as shyt. We drove up the drive way thru a gate like
:whoo:

Might’ve been the biggest house I ever been in. So big the husbands mother has her own wing. So big these folks had 6 Christmas trees. So big the island in the kitchen was 3x bigger than my dining room
:why:

TVs and water fountains all over the place. A life size Santa greeting us at the door. The breh had a pull out drawer for the fridge stocked up Casamigos and Dusse. Urinals in every bathroom. Had a heated pavilion out back with the Colts and Pats playing for all the weed and cigar smokers
:blessed:

I told them from now on every event gonna be at their crib. Matter fact I might just move in. Plus they only in their mid 30s. Black excellence
:wow:

:whoo::whoo:

Upper Marlboro always had it like that :wow:

I don’t wanna think about those water and electric bills tho :wow:

@BmoreGorilla Btw breh, I’ll be starting work at my new job up in Baltimore soon. What’s the best way to commute to the area where that giant SSA building is? I think the Bmore Subway go up that way, nearest stop is Reisterstown Rd. I’ll most likely be commuting from Amtrak (MARC too but the former seems like it’s faster) and I’ll be getting off at Penn Station.

So you gonna be out Woodlawn and your taking the Marc train. My guess would be you would need to take a bus from the Marc tbh. I’m not sure there’s a subway stop near the train station

The subway is one line :heh:

Are you sure you can’t drive? You looking at a hell of a commute

Yeah that’s damn near Woodlawn lol. And the closest subway stop from Penn Station is State Center. I have the option of walking there (lowkey don’t want to on account of how it felt like Antarctica today), catching the bus there, maybe take a southbound light rail and see if it’ll take me to the Subway and I’ll ride to work from there, or catch Uber/Lyft to either all the way to work (to cut down on time) or to the State Center stop (would save me a few dollars). At least I’ll be provided with transit subsidies tho.

And my car got wrecked from an accident I got into over in DC two months ago :francis:

We’re all working from home right now but we’re all waiting on the word for us to return to campus, which will come either next month or February.

Have fun on that subway. I’m sure you’ll see more of Baltimore than you ever cared to

Yo are any of y’all or can any of y’all link me with a commercial real estate agent in DMV area? I’ll be up there first week of January to look at a few storefronts. Trying to link with someone from the area in real estate

Thanks a lot, y’all so helpful :unimpressed:

nikkas be having to do shyt they damn self smh. I linked with an agent. Now can anyone please assist with this next question:

Are there any neighborhoods or particular sections that are necessarily dispensary friendly? And on the opposite end are there any areas or neighborhoods I should stay away from. Trying to open an I-71 compliant gifting shop. Going to look at some spaces in two weeks. Trying to get the right location for this shyt

So I’ve heard lmao :dead: I know Lexington Market to Mondawmin is gonna be a whole circus lol

Last time I was in BMore I used my Smartrip Card, on the bus and light rail.

Never rode the subway tho.

As much as I used to go up there. I have no real sense off direction in that City. It's an interesting city to commute around. It seems every place is 10 minutes from each other, if that makes sense.

The SSA building you talking about is out in the county. You might as well drive. Just my opinion. All the people people that I know at the SSA work from home like you do through. That commute would be :comeon:tough.

I used to do the reverse commute but eventually had to move.

Check and see if there is a commuter bus that stops there.

In DC I be seeing plenty of dispensaries along Georgia Ave and also some in Adams Morgan and U Street. I don’t recall seeing much of them in Downtown tho.

How to open a Dispensary in Washington, D.C.

Make sure you read between the lines when it comes to DC’s commercial marijuana laws tho.

Im straight on the law and that other stuff. I’m just looking for good locations to lease a space in. Good looking. Someone I know who went to Howard mentioned Adams Morgan. Just trying to narrow some locations down. I got some people up there but they transplants and don’t know the city like that.
