After I finish these TPS reports, I'm hitting up Giant and setting up a mini-pc. Mess around and might fold some laundry, lol

I like music, movies, food and good drinks. It's been on my bucket list to go to some these "round tables" and public hearings for a while, but I never remember to go when I have days off... I need to cross off my political DC events at some point...

Cana bar in Adams Morgan - Brazilian Joint I haven't hit yet.
Elmina - West African Food Restaurant, that's real hot right now....Up on 14th from the U-Street Metro
Dogon - Been out for a minute, but I missed out on Kith and Kin his last joint. When I looked it up on the map, it's kind of inconveniently situated. It's a decent little walk, but I'm not going to that place unless I'm suited and booted. If I walk there from Smithsonian or wherever I'm gonna be drenched.

As for Cinco de Mayo - I think that's more of a
holiday in DC. I would personally floss through Good Co in SW for a margarita and a doughnut, but given The Wharf/Southwest Demographics, I'd be on some
my damn self. Unlike 15 years ago when I was living it up in NW, where there was always something. When I moved back, I had no interest in trying to find a decent place. But nowadays I stay in the hood, so I'm not even running across my socio-economic and demographic counterparts that often. Good looking women in that 35+ range...has kids, or a husband and family. I might need to take the franchise to Maryland TBH...
And now that I'm talking about it..
I was walking through GW on Saturday, and I feel sorry for white guys in this town. Couple weeks back and I was 10,000 stepping through Ballston/GMU, and I get why the Republicans are so mad. If they want to do all that work to come to the DMV, they # of cute non-Black women is quite paltry indeed.
I got a lot of mixed feelings about DC on a subjective level, but it's a good place objectively.

Went to the intentional food festival this past weekend. Got some Hawaiian food was craving some. Was held at the square food hall, lots of pop up shops with different food options from all over. After that hit porch fest in Adams Morgan. shyt was packed they shut down the streets, we hit Air afterwards.
Heading to the nationals game today, hopefully it doesn’t rain out.
