Saw 2 white people @ Giant.
They didn't know each other.

And they was WHITE WHITE, like NoVa white

I'm shook!

I randomly had a convo last night with a old white dude from VA, and I was saying I'm in the last quadrant to be heavily gentrified.

Speak of the Devil....

Yo checked out swingers tonight they added a carnival section with carnival games. Spot would be nice for a meet up then hit a lounge or something later. Headed to V14 tonight.
It was GroupMe with some DMV folks but they was always trying to do shyt in Baltimore. Never DC

If money wasn’t an issue where would you live in DC and why?

I can't think of any of the rich neighborhoods I'd want to live in.

Maybe within a few blocks of the U-Street Metro.

I lived in Logan Circle/14th street for years when it wasn't as gentrified as it is now (The Whole Foods was there, but Trader Joe's wasn't), and I have zero desire to return to that even with the improvements.

I wouldn’t want to live in the now white neighborhoods because of the huge rats around there. You just see them chilling.

In the hoods they usually have outside cats that keeps the rats from just being all over the damn place.

If I was to move back to the urea I’d move to Bowie and call it a day.

I'd pick 16th Streets Heights, Tacoma, or Petworth

Or a condo on the Wharf

Maybe's my age, maybe it was the pandemic - but I can't really be around them folks like that anymore.

I somehow can tolerate the BS of SouthEast way more than the BS of NW/Nova/The "professional class" of DC. I feel weird about it tbh.

I was reading through the thread
  • Georgetown
  • Spring Valley
  • A row house in Capitol Hill
  • Kalorama
  • Cleveland Park
And my skin just starts crawling on the idea of living there.
