Listen, y’all all know how much I love PG and rep it to the fullest and I’m unapologetic about it. But I swear we got possibly the most trash ass utilities infrastructure in the whole DMV :gucci: Not only did the damn trifling ass trash crew not come pick up any trash in the area today (only the recycle workers came) but now my town (Brandywine and parts of Clinton) are dealing with a blackout…Idk if the blackout is because of the storm or if a branch/tree landed on a cable wire or what but this is the 3rd possibly even 4th blackout this year around here within the last two months and the first three were non-weather related. And while I’m on that subject, I still don’t understand why a lotta parts of my county got shyt lighting :beli: You could be either in the hood or in a decent area or in an outright wealthy area and street lights and sidewalk lights either be damn near non-existent or don’t be coming on correctly. The commercial areas be well-lit but the neighborhoods and side streets tho? :francis:

shyt real live be looking like Detroit at times with the utilities issue lol

I gotta give my props to Mo County, they don’t be having these types of utility problems.

Part 2 of last night's storm was a beast. Lights flickered a little bit but held on

What’s crazy is that my side of town kinda evaded the worst of last night’s storm but the power still went out. It went out around close to midnight and SMECO was able to get it back on around 2:00-something in the morning.

It was 81 and the humidity was on chill when I was cruisin’ around Clinton and Camp Springs :wow: Now if you're in Da City rn tho, it’s definitely not gonna feel like that too much due to the heat coming from all them people and buildings within close proximity of each other lol :russ:

I feel like the grown & sexy crowd are usually at Victory, Lounge of Three, Bossa, Bin 1301, etc. when it comes to U Street but someone else might be able to answer better. I’ve noticed that that particular crowd seem to enjoy hitting up Downtown and Georgia Ave more tho. U Street, Logan Circle, Adams Morgan, H Street, and Dupont Circle are definitely hot spots for the 18 to 25 crowd.

Me being nearly 29, I’m at the stage where I can appreciate a lounge or rooftop party vibe more so than a nightclub setting but my preferred crowd is a good mix of 25 to 34.

Maybe you and your girls might enjoy this place in Dupont Circle called Decades. One floor plays 80’s music, the other 90’s music, and the third 2000’s and some early 2010’s music. The crowd is decently mixed both age-wise and racially. I had a good ass time there before the pandemic arrived out here :ehh: Try not to wear sneakers there tho but since y’all women, the security might let it slide. Be warned that the floor can be sticky from folks spilling their drinks tho lol

Was walking around the Georgetown campus and across the bridge toward Arlington when I looked up and noticed dark storm clouds. About a minute later I saw a huge hit of lightning and promptly turned around heading back toward Gerogetown.

Started climbing that huge staircase when everything hit. I should've stayed on the staircase but I end up booking toward the campus in the full rain/wind.

Lost my earbuds, but it was fun.
