drake doesn't even have a youtube channel that he cares about...anything that he wants to get heard would be on soundcloud. nikka is gone top 10 on billboard on a track he didn't even tweet out the itunes link to. If you honestly thing only 60k people have heard summer sixteen then shame on you. He has already sold 240k singles off that song.

youtube views and sales are basically the same thing in this era though, Apple has a deal with Drake that's all that is left to be said about his situation.

now imagine War Pains 60k views..and its only credited if the video has paid sponsors/ads
Now an artist who has a deal with Apple (Drake) sees no middle man for revenue off views like he would on Youtube.
(Youtube gets a cut first, then the ad sponsor, then the channel/artist gets crumbs)
Apple gives him a big cut off streaming, he also gets a bigger cut off itunes sales compared to artists not signed with Apple.

that's good for him making money but i'm talking about views. sales don't concern me one bit. it also doesn't affect my way of listening to music. all it takes for me is to like the song. i think War Pain is a better track overall.
