For those of you thinking about starting an Online Business this is the thread for you. Want to start the next big e-commerce website? Want to know how to sell your clothes from your clothing line on your own website or another website? Have a great idea for an App? This is the thread for you. E-Commerce is where it's at moving forward.

According to Richard Branson, 2016 is the greatest time to start a business and since traditional brick and mortars are becoming less likely to succeed everyday, e-commerce is the way to go. There's plenty of brehs on this board that know all the technical logistics to help you become the entrepreneur you may be destined to be in regards to website expertise. I'm more into marketing so I can help you with that more than the tech stuff and I'll be more than happy to share some jewels if anyone asks. We bullshyt on this board a lot but we should also be able to build and share jewels on how to help each other get to the money.

A few cats asked for this thread so here it go.

Had the female friends try to start online clothing stores, both failed :wow:

Make sure y'all have a lot of connects and a viable, unsaturated market before proceeding. Facebook word of mouth isn't enough.
They should've created a demand before they fully launched. With clothes most people are followers, they should've did their research on their product first. For instance, they should've went to local clubs and asked the baddest bishes in there would they wear their clothes and showed them samples, if they said yes they should've given those chics some free clothes and once others seen the baddest bishes wearing that shyt they would follow. Put a high ass price tag on the items on the website to make them covet it more and brand it as valuable and exclusive and a demand is created locally. To do it nationally they should target popular IG bishes and apply the same tactics.

Them IG thots aren't going to promote for free, that's the problem. Promotion costs. The both of them thought they could do it based on word of mouth, primarily cause they couldn't afford the overhead.

@satireprod , one was general clothing: dresses, shirts, skirts etc. The other was accessories.

Free is free bruh. Daymond John had LL taking pics wearing FUBU back when he had no money to offer him.

You think an IG bish on section 8 that has a gang of followers will charge? If she's getting free clothes?

I think this is true especially if the clothes are good quality and the owners were women so IG chicks will know it's about business and not just a dude spitting game.

The business is the free apparel. All they gotta do is take pics in the clothes and wear them. IG models not getting endorsement deals breh.

To get this started, here are the serious questions that need to be answered:

1. You have an online business, or you're thinking about one. Great. Now, after you've bought a website and have your content up, how do you get real traffic???

2. How do you keep from being ripped off? (i.e. someone stealing your idea and running with it)

Folks, avoid discussing bs in here and lets get straight to the point.

Yeah I'm agreeing with you on that. I just was saying what you were saying is true especially if the clothes are fly, they're going to take the free stuff without thinking twice.
