Basically, you need to go where your target audience is...which brings me to a good question, what is your target audience? Your blog is about entertainment, sports and current social topics..that's pretty broad b....it's better to be #1 in one thing than try to talk about everything...like the dude Akademiks on here...he got a lot of his fan base keying in on the Chicago Drill scene on his YouTube...

How? When a person visits your site, they should know exactly who the audience is/the topic so they know whether to stay or leave. When I read the website tagline, it said:

WELCOME TO FROM THE EASTSIDE WITH LOVE. THE SITE TO FIND ALL THE PODCAST EPISODES FROM FTESWL. DELIVERING NEW CONTENT ON SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT AND CURRENT SOCIAL TOPICS.

That's very broad. That could be anyone, man or woman, any age, not just sports.

A better tagline would simply be "The #1 College Male Sports Podcast" - if that's the audience you want to promote to.

The first blog podcast I saw was about Prince. If your podcast/blog is going to be about all that stuff then the target audience isn't college male sports fans.

We want this to be like barbershop talk where it's off the cuff yet we still give you current/factual information. So if you go into a barbershop right now you'll hear about Prince but the playoff game is probably gonna be on so then nikkas will start talking about basketball.

No I'm answering why you see the other two things we talk about: entertainment and social topics, that's why you see Prince there, that's why you'll hear us talk about Drake or Beyonce or have an episode just about UFC. We try to talk about current topics, if you have never been in a barbershop I can understand why you're confused
