Check out the Ryse trailer Microsoft debuted at their conference. It basically was a shameless button masher where every enemy got killed with easy quick time events. On the other hand they also showed Dark Souls II, known for its brutal difficulty.

So QSE=button mashing? I loved both trailers though bre, Ryse would make buy that POS xbone :whoo: I'm a sucker for Rome and that looked like an Assassins Creed copycat :takedat:, too much button assist shyt though :comeon:

Remember Dragon's Lair? How the whole game was push a button to react? And a sequence that you didn't control would play out? That's QTE.

There are a ton of modern examples in COD, Gears of War and a bunch of other games. RYSE just seems to use a lot of it.
