I actually enjoyed settlements in FO4 .. despite the jank. Hardcore and no fast travel gave you a reason to use them. People will probably turn on Bethesda if there aren't serious upgrades though.

These people can't build nothing for themselves and always getting attacked annoying asf Dont get me wrong I love it when i was able to kill some greenskins and raiders when i was OP but I wanted to do other things then to protect soe rinky dink settlement...
