if you follow Lester's character transformation, it makes perfect sense why he did it. Lester's had a year to have his ego fed and his pride filled. His coming back in the elevator is exactly what someone like him would do in that situation, so it was not stupid.

It's not that it's not believable, it's that it's incredibly stupid.

Every time Lester does something mind numbingly stupid, he gets multiple people merked or ruins their lives just so he won't have to face the consequences. shyt is hilarious, truly like watching a car wreck.

I hope Lester gets away with it. I really don't understand how they could do a Season 2, unless they went back to the 1978 murders or whatever ol'boy was talking about. That would actually be pretty cool,, then we can see a young Malvo acting then too.

This is like the perfect post-Breaking Bad tv series. Which is fitting when you consider that the Coen Bros basically fathered Vince Gilligan's whole style.
