When were tourists threatened with jail time? It's been the opposite, with Qatari organizers repeatedly saying everyone will be fine, with Western journos insisting they wont be.

Like I said earlier, there wont be a single serious incident of a tourist getting arrested during the WC.

World Cup 2018 coverage was far more sympathetic, look at Grant Wahl talking about how Russia is a "complex and beautiful country" while there( I actually agree) No such nuance here.
