Yeah for sure but today's game is today's game.

Mbappe is the Greatest Player at the moment, he's showed he is levels above everyone else from his generation.

Ronaldo low key went through the same thing (rape allegations and the death of a child), but even with that stress and troubles still preformed, maybe not to his standard but still preformed.

At the end of the day, this man is extremely under performing, he knew he wasn't going to walk into Madrid and be the Don. Especially being a seasoned footballer.
