@SmarkMero

looking for a gif that I am sure you originally posted.

It's a woman at a concacaf nations league or champions league match in Jamaica and cameraman is focusing on her while she is watching herself upload a selfie video to social media. :pachaha:
I vaguely know what you are talking about but I just can't remember.:lupe:

I didn't watch the game because of time difference but reading all the comments on here from the Arsenal fans, it sounds like it was like watching England under Southgate with the frustration of not making any subs to try and change the game or not be able to trust anyone but your 1st 11

there's actual a similar vibe with Arsenal vs PSG, with England v Spain in the Euros final. A powerful team with decent technical ability vs an incredibly technical team. Although Arsenal so much tactically stronger than Gareth ball

And the game somewhat played out like the final of the Euros. Arsenal just couldn't handle the passing ability of PSG. Although to be fair I think Arteta adjusted things as the game went on well.

Arsenal's two chances really showed where Arsenal can pull off a miracle in Paris. Both Martinelli and Trossard's chances came from driving central runs from Rice and MLS. PSG midfield can't handle that. So in theory Partey back and Rice further forward and Merino up top, should a) allow Arsenal to use their physical power to attack and b) handle the press of PSG better with the short option of Partey and the long option of Merino.

I find Arsenal generally play better away but PSG press insanely high in numbers at home. Confident in MLS to break through the press but Raya seemed to be very nervous. So many long balls to Trossard but i guess Merino in means there's at least a target man.

But yeh tough ask to turn around a home defeat. Draw last night and it's possible. Trossard did a decent strike but man Martinelli shot was awful. He had so much time.

Partey a key cog to Arsenal but man i'm still pissed he got that stupid yellow in Madrid. It fukked up so much as Rice isn't a 6 for a game like this and Trossard isn't a striker for a game like this either.

But PSG are fantastic. So good on the ball all over the pitch. I just feel Arteta shouldn't have tried to go toe to toe with them on a footballing level. PSG will attack and leave space in all contexts lot of the time. So use that to your advantage and keep a low ish block and counter them. Which I guess is now the plan for the second leg as PSG will still attack as they always do

like man utd vs. arsenal back in the day.

the way to beat that is a combination of maverick, grit, %-age footy (pens, free kicks, corners, crosses, throw ins, long balls, direct, tactical fouls, defend deep, rough) and decisive execution when the opportunities come.

not sure this arsenal have it in them to do that..
