We win on Wednesday and no one cares about what’s currently happening with our league form

We lose the tie then :francis:
Some uncomfortable conversations and reactions across the club need to be had
I’m completely indifferent to the result this Wednesday when I look at it like that. I’d be happy to go get to a CL final but I don’t see us beating Barca or Inter… they’re light years ahead of us. Going out Wednesday may benefit us long term.

Funny thing is, @jj23 and I said we’d take Amorim over Arteta and people mocked us. Well, he has one foot in the Europa final and could end the season with a trophy despite the shyt show he inherited.

Arteta has had six seasons and one trophy. No, we don’t have a divine right to win trophies, but with the money Arsenal have spent and the manner in which we’ve lost/drawn games, it is unacceptable.

Ruben, play the kids tomorrow. At most, 15 mins for our starters to get some warmth in their legs.

One leg in the EL final. That’s our season there

Then might be time to lose, cause this bullshyt is endemic at this point.

Arteta fukking out.

Yeah because it's Arteta's fault that the players couldn't deal with a long throw. Guess a new manager will suddenly make Odegaard not defend like a girl :mjlol:

In fact, I would go out on a limb and say, if we had stuck with Wenger, and given him the money to spend that Arteta had, we might have done better.

Does Arteta decide the transfer fees though?

The manner in which you have lost some games has been unacceptable but let's be honest, conceding a goal directly from a long throw is completely on the players. How is that Artetas fault?

It shows that players aren't focused. They are thinking ahead to Tuesday or it's something else. That's on the manager.

This isn't the Wenger "cobbled together on a shoestring budget cause a stadium has to be paid for" team. Look at the lineup. Look at the talent. For me easily comparable or superior to Liverpool, but where is the fear factor? Where is the sense of inevitability that you see from this Liverpool squad or from the Guardiola squads over the past few years?

How can Slott find that switch in one season but Arteta can't?
