I can’t take much more of this. I said the Madrid result is simply papering over the cracks.

I’ll see y’all in the Clippers/Nuggets thread later. :unimpressed:
I posted a video earlier on this week with one guy having a massive rant about how Slot had come in spent no money and won the league in his first season whilst Arteta has spent 100 of millions and is getting no where close to it

And the other guy's argument was did you not just see Tuesday we beat Madrid, give him time :russ:

He needs to hit the gym.
He's been getting bytched way too often this season he can't hold off anyone lately.

Where do you stand on the whole Odegaard v Bruno debate?

At the start of the season I used to think Bruno was wasteful and should be taking care of the ball the way Odegaard does but now at end of the season, I am looking at Bruno's impact on big games and his goals/assists and am leaning towards him :ehh:

Bruno isn't my type of player tbh he's way too hollywood all or nothing for me.
I appreciate he puts up numbers but his overall play over 90 mins leaves much to be desired.

Would prefer Odegaard at his best over Bruno all day, but I don't really have an argument this season :pachaha:

Remember Arteta got rid of Aubameyang a golden boot winner to assemble a front 3 of Jesus, Martinellli and Troussard

one of the worst front 3 I have seen in the PL from a top side

Let’s just face the facts. Slot winning the title in his first season is a damning indictment on Arteta. He’s come to a brand new league, inheriting an ageing squad, following in the footsteps of a big personality and delivered.

Please tell me what’s the excuse for Arteta? We could potentially go out of the champions league next week, even potentially drop to 4th in the league and end a fifth straight season trophyless.

How can anyone possibly defend this? I’ve been Arteta out for years, just look through this thread. He can’t push us over the finish line when it comes to the crunch. He’s mid table management at best but he’s simply not elite.

IF, he somehow wins the champions league this season then I’ll shout my mouth. But we all know we’re the least likely to lift the trophy at this point.

Arteta has no excuses as I've already said the more money he gets to spend the worse his team gets each season

And the only trophy he has won was against Chelsea when they were going through their 6 final losing streak like Klopp did once

I've said it from the beginning he is a wish/temu version of Pep with even more arrogance and no winning ability factor to him

Did try Repping your post but have to rep 25 other people again before I rep you ( bullshyt rule that is :scust: )

Caused a havoc with my watching family yesterday.
I said Arteta out even if he wins CL.

Got shouted down til I had to leave and come back later
Do you think this is like the end of the Wenger era where so many wanted him out but loads where still all for him
So it just caused loads of conflict between the fans

At least Wenger not only won things he changed English football and the way we look after our bodies and approach the game for the better something Pep hasn't even done
All Pep has done has made it boring to watch with the way he want his teams to play the game

In my immediate circle, they all Arteta in, which is crazy because some of them watch more footy and know good replacements.

Same time, Slott coming in and winning is waking up the casual fans.

IF he loses this Wednesday, I think he’ll feel the fans wrath more next season
