How is Rodrigo Caio Brazilbrehs?

He’s probably one of the most overrated players in recent memory. As a Santos fan I love him, because you can always count on him to put São Paulo’s defense in a compromising situation. Don’t get me wrong he has talent, but overall he’s a very average defender that makes ridiculous mistakes on a consistent basis.

He’s been fortunate to have a lot of media hype over the years. If you just listen to the media and watch his highlights you would think he was a great player, but he’s not. To me the true test of a defender is what your club’s diehard fans have to say about you, and the majority of são-paulinos despise Rodrigo Caio.

A change of scenery might be good for him. But I don’t think he has the technical ability, physicality, or mental dexterity to play CB in Italy. On the bright side if you have low expectations, you might be pleasantly surprised.
