he smartly chose to leave and didn't give us a choice. he saw what wumger was about in his latter years not properly integrating young player into the first team. how the fukk you gonna loan a talent like him coming off injury (after previously showing you what he could do against swansea way and spurs at home) to tony fukkin pulis. that's when he knew wumger gave up on him. you don't lend a player to tony pulis if you have hopes for them. so he went back home and is doing better than he ever would if he stayed.
donyell malen is another one to watch who went back home and is looking like the player everyone expected him to be.
