People like the idea of Lukaku as the classic big man up front, back towards goal Drogba-esque striker, but the reality is quite different.

I have to refrain myself from considering him a poacher

Do you guys not see Lukaku absolutely isolated up front by himself? What exactly do you want the man to do differently? :dwillhuh:
Don't know what match mfs is watching
Havertz selfishly taking on 2 players while Lukaku is open in the middle of the box
Mount just took ages on the ball and fukked up an easy through ball to Lukaku like 10 minutes ago
They sent him a long ball he holds the ball and no one comes up to support
The squad has to get used to playing with a proper #9, they acting like this shyt is brand new to them:francis:

So all that size and pace (and supposed "strength") is for?

He's wasted as a advanced forward. Have you seen his first touch? I guess he kinda makes good runs towards goal, but when he was at united it was hard to not view him as just a big ass poacher.

Ole tried him on the wing towards the end of his tenure with us and that kind of worked, but Lukaku didn't fancy it

96 million well spent though :mjlol:
