I’m so proud of Arsenal. I would’ve been happy with a draw but these guys have come to play. I know there’s a long way to go and in the 2nd half, they’re going to unleash the flutes on us, but we’ve really held our own so far. Please let us hold on until half time.

how often does City even come from behind to win?

The real question, how often do City even go behind? That’s why I know the 2nd half will be hell once Pep gives his team the hair dryer treatment.

I hope we go for a second. If we sit back in the 2nd half, City will punish us. Their defense is suspect with Ake at the back, he can’t contain Saka. They’re there for the taking.

Regardless of the result, I’m glad Arteta has placed his faith in the youth: Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Odegaard, Tierney… they’re holding their own against arguably the best team on form in Europe.

And they’re all 20-23. We can really build on this team once we find a long term striker solution.
