I’m actually quite impressed with how we’ve played so far. We’ve controlled the ball very well. Very encouraging especially considering how the other heavyweights have played.

Defense still looks a little lax. One loose pass and there’s space in behind.

If Simon could get his delivery right we’d be in business cause he’s been finding space on the LW.

I think this 4-4-2 is our best bet given the lack of bodies in the center of the park and late loss of Victor, Dennis and Odion.

Still early but I’m happy from what I’m seeing, especially if this Jose P. guy comes through with WCQ.

This really should be our AFCON to win. Time to shed that “always the bridesmaid never a bride” tag

After that first half just looking at the Egypt squad it's majority Egypt based players. I just don't see how they'll be able to compete with the other powerhouse nations. With Algeria Morocco and the West African nations getting the European born and based players repping the country of their parents/grandparents nowadays. The advantage in quality Egypt have in club football doesn't really translate to the international stage. :hubie:
