Too many moving parts.

Almost certainly will be merino left 8, trossard upfront.

Likely not going to play MLS midfield for the first time all season in a Semi Final.

Arteta could try it out in league games coming up given the league is done. But agreed I don’t think we should disrupt the back 5. Given it’s a home game I could see Arteta playing Jorginho. If it was away no chance. Or is he injured?

Partey isn’t exactly the most mobile player himself and Jorginho similar to Partey at making good passes under pressure and making those passes that break the lines . MLS at home will invert a lot also into the middle to give our midfield when on the ball more movement. And when we defend, we’ve never really relied on our 6 to mop everything up given Rice gets back, the wingers work hard and Ode presses like a madman

Madrid made all that noise pre game for nothing, pitiful:hhh:

Anyone whoactually watches them/football knew they weren't gonna do shyt against this arsenal defence.

PSG and Barca are the only teams remaining in the comp that can penetrate arsenal's defence (pause) and score more than a measly one goal over two legs
