That anxiousness is real. I've been reading through Roger Ebert's website and his great movies series and was just looking at the vast amount of movies I haven't seen, it was staggering

I mean Ebert's life was movies so of course he's seen everything but still, there were some things in there that I was actually sorta embarrassed about

hilarious. i have a list of stuff i wanna see/read/etc but i have not even begun to start cause i'd rather do "nothing"


case in point: buy ebert's "great movies" at least 5 years ago, and still not even trying to get through it

like your entertainment options are a weight and chore in itself, because it's something you should watch and thus becomes some kind of informal homework

exactly. its why i say fukk it, i never read the great gatsby, anything i read because i "have to" in a social sense and not a professional/self-fulfillment sense is i'll get around to it some day and if i dont then fukk it. 80 year olds still have goals they want to achieve, what does that tell you about how you shouldn't be anxious about not getting stuff done

that being said, two books i really wanna read are Book of Daniel and Billy Bathgate by E.L. Doctorow. i actually own the first one, i remember i started reading it when i was 12 and the first chapter has a descriptive scene of a dude hittin his woman doggystyle. it was too intense for 12 year old horse, i had to put it down

She came from the dubstep scene and ran in the rinse fm circles when rinse fm was trying to get a legit radio license after being a pirate radio station since '93

She completely leeched off the underground UK bass scene and her stuff was ass. It's a watered down version of watered down dubstep trying to be commercial. She came out at the time when everyone was trying to use dubstep as a get rich quick ticket. Same as james blake, although james blake is different because his stuff was actually progressive at the time he came out and he was pushing things fwd along with the hessle audio and hemlock crews, which says alot in itself. Geeneus, redlight and benga should all be embarassed with themselves btw. She's a cool chick in saying all of this, completely buttaz in person tho
