He is so hilariously nonchalant.
His interviews are pure comedy.

Should resign either wayIf I were Ruben, If I win the Europa League final. I would resign.

Don't you want to see what he can do with a full pre season behind him and some of the players he wants ?Should resign either way

The club are not going to give him the right platform to succeed anyways.Don't you want to see what he can do with a full pre season behind him and some of the players he wants ?
Instead of just coming in half way through the season which he didn't really want to do anyway
I understand that but are they going to give the next manager the right platform to succeed? The club are not going to give him the right platform to succeed anyways.

I like Amorim and want him to succeed. I just dont think he's at the club at the right time. For him to succeed at United I think the team would need to be completely ripped up down to the ground and rebuilt from scratch. I dont think the club are in the position to do that so I think we might need to look for a manager that is able to build on what is currently there and rebuild team from there. That should get us to be competitive before we can even build towards challenging for the league again.I understand that but are they going to give the next manager the right platform to succeed?
If not it doesn't matter who the manager is so let's see what he can do with a pre season behind him
Yes he has be bad in the league ( and better teams than yours not bigger have been relegated before West Ham 03 (I think) comes to mind )
But he has got you to a Europa League final and you have performed quite well in that rrom what I've seen

For example, in January, we desperately needed someone to come in as a WB to help with the teams shape and tactical base to improve the team going forward. The club signed a 20 year old from the lower part of Serie A who not only needs development himself but needs to adjust to a new league/country etc. which you know can take 6 months to a year. So what was the point?
The league defeats are beyond too much and just not acceptable. He's not the only one culpable so If I were him, I would leave win or lose the final.
Are you agreeing with me? I'm confused.who says his "system" works in the prem anyway? we used to laugh at pep for needing the best players but at least pep comes with as close as a guaranteed win as possible. with amorim, who knows?
let him stay, like wally and ETH, under the matter has been settled. or the excuses get too ridiculous.
